Do you avoid the opposite sex at work or at least treat them differently?

It seems like with entry level jobs and just starting out you can joke with the opposite sex, but as you move up the ladder, you worry more about sexual harassment suits. Then you end up treating the opposite sex differently, no joking, no friendship, just pure business.

Do you find this to be true within your own life?

Rio, It will happen as you move up the ladder and it is worse for men. It is just human nature aka self preservation.

Yes, you can't take any chances it's just better to keep it light and not get involved.

You can't deny, not all but it's women that are trouble in the workplace.

add on: Yes, when you have been around the block a few time you see things. Nobody wants to have to worry if they say something that might offend a women and be reported. the price is usually job loss. People don't want to have to guard every word they say, that can be twisted and used against them. Be it sexual harassment or just some taken the wrong way.

Business are freightened of women with all the lawsuits, the government says they have to higher them and it's risky. It's all about he drama women create.
